Courtney has a Parent and Teacher's association (PTA) which is supported by both staff and parents and raising a lot of money to put back into the school. This has provided an impressive range of books, equipment and improvements for the school. Through PTA efforts, a 100 square metre extension was recently added to the main building to house a computer suite.
Examples of PTA events include barbecues, family discos, Christmas and Summer fairs.
