The Governing Body are a group of people who are concerned with the welbeing of every child and staff member of Courtney. They are responsible for staffing decisions, approving curriculum policies, ensuring health and safety in the school and making financial decisions. The governing body is made of a mix of teachers, parents, non teaching staff and authority appointments. They meet roughly once a month and there is a number of Governor committees to discuss specific issues.
